PRSA Philly Lunch & Learn: Understanding AI and Managing Organizational Risk.

PRSA Philadelphia is introducing a new virtual series designed to be group conversations exploring topics relevant to communications professionals working in corporate, agency and consulting environments. The series will feature experts delving deeper into topics we should all be well versed in as communicators. Each Lunch & Learn series will be followed by a Q&A session, and afterward we encourage attendees to continue the conversation by exploring the topic and its implications within your team and organization. So gather 'round your conference table with your teammates and check out the inaugural topic!

Understanding AI and Managing Organizational Risk

As communications professionals, our leadership and clients and stakeholders often look to us to understand large language models and how generative AI can be used to increase efficiency, be more creative, and get the upper hand over competitors. Many of us may know the basics, but AI stretches way beyond ChatGPT. What are the pitfalls like AI hallucinations, security issues like plugging confidential data into a platform, legal issues like plagiarism, and ethical concerns. Join us for an insider's look at what you need to know now and what's speeding over the horizon.

"Communicators will not be replaced by AI. Professionals who don't know how to use AI effectively will be replaced by communicators who understand all facets of AI."
