PRSA Philly's virtual Lunch & Learn series is designed to be group conversations exploring topics relevant to communications professionals working in corporate, agency and consulting environments.

The series features industry-leading experts from across the country delving deeper into topics we should all be well versed in as communicators. Each Lunch & Learn series is followed by a Q&A session, and we encourage attendees to continue the conversation by exploring the topic and its implications within your team and organization. 


About the Program:

Dave Burnett, founder of AOK Marketing and past PRSA ICON speaker, will join us virtually on Wednesday, June 10, to connect the dots between media placements and AI visibility — specifically how getting your clients “named in the AI answers” leads to more business, and why that increased business supports deeper investment in PR.

About the Presenter:


Dave Burnett is a serial entrepreneur, executive coach, and investor with a 25+ year track record of turning bold ideas into thriving businesses. His career began in business school, where he launched a beer sampling startup that grew to 50 employees before being acquired—setting the tone for a life of hustle, adaptability, and growth.

Dave went on to co-found Achievers.com, an employee recognition platform that became an industry leader and sold for $110M in 2015. Never one to stand still, he also built PromotionalProducts.com, acquiring the coveted domain name after 16 years of follow-up and determination. His grit extends beyond business—after suffering a traumatic brain injury in 2018, Dave continued working in 15-minute bursts between periods of rest. “I never thought about stopping,” he says, reflecting the persistence that defines his journey.

Today, Dave is the founder of AOKMarketing.com, a performance-driven digital marketing agency that helps businesses grow through high-converting websites, SEO, paid media, and lead generation strategies. Known for delivering real results, AOK’s mission is to help companies turn traffic into revenue through smart, measurable marketing. From scrappy startups to major enterprises, Dave and his team bring decades of experience in growth marketing, conversion optimization, and customer acquisition.

In addition to running multiple ventures, Dave is a Certified Bloom Growth Coach, helping entrepreneurs and leadership teams implement operating systems that drive scale and clarity. A long-time EO member, speaker, columnist, and co-founder of Valleywood Capital, Dave brings a no-fluff, experience-led perspective to his coaching and public speaking. Registration cancellations will be accepted
Cancellation Policy:
All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing fourteen (14) days prior to an event. A refund of the full registration fee, minus an administrative charge of 10% or $10 (whichever is greater), will be given for cancellations received by that date. For cancellation requests received 7-14 days prior to the event, you will receive credit towards a future event that must be used within 12 months of the original event. For requests within one week of the event date, no refunds nor credits towards another event will be guaranteed. Submit all requests to admin@philly.org.
PRSA regrets that refunds cannot be given for no-shows. Substitutions are gladly accepted! Substitutions of registrations are permitted prior to the program and onsite.
