About this event
PRSA Philly's virtual Lunch & Learn series is designed to be group conversations exploring topics relevant to communications professionals working in corporate, agency, and consulting environments.
The series features industry-leading experts from across the country delving deeper into topics we should all be well versed in as communicators. Each Lunch & Learn series is followed by a Q&A session, and we encourage attendees to continue the conversation by exploring the topic and its implications within your team and organization.
There is Always More to Solve. Be Positioned to Be Paid for It.
Landing a new account is exciting for an agency. We hurry to get a scope of work signed so we can start billing and validating their decision to hire us, often to the detriment of mutually beneficial, clearly defined expectations. A lack of defined, defensible scopes leads to mutual resentment, impedes organic growth and assigns the negative equity of the previous agency to the new one.
Mark will discuss how to “start out like you can hold out,” by properly gaining clarity of how the client would like the story to end, and then writing defensible scopes to eliminate over-servicing, the culprit that erodes AGI and undermines your agency’s ability to demand a respectable multiple upon exit.
The outcome will be a roadmap to greater profits, and a culture where new business is everyone’s business. By eliminating the “Dirty Words” of scopes and embracing the benefit of defensible scopes, your teams will be positioned to grow accounts by identifying more client issues to solve.
Learning Objectives:
- Discover the DIG (Discovery. Immersion. Growth) Methodology as an organic growth strategy to significantly grow revenue from existing clients.
- Eliminate the “Dirty Words” of scopes to write defensible scopes that eliminate over-servicing which creates staff burnout and erodes AGI.
- Empower your entire staff to grow accounts, make the work feel tangible to clients and begin the journey to your eventual exit.
