Do you have a mentor or someone that deeply influenced you?

SPRYTE Communications CEO Lisa Simon has been an invaluable help at the start of my PR career.

 

What first drew you to a career in communications or PR?

Strategic communicators influencing public opinion from behind the scenes really interested me. I also love to write, so it felt natural to pursue a PR degree in college.

 

Why did you choose to volunteer your time and expertise on our PRSA board?

To meet local PR professionals and give back to the PRSA Philadelphia Chapter. I also see it as a great way to stay involved and support my own professional development.

 

What advice would you give to someone early in their PR or communications career?

Join your local PR organizations and get involved as much as you can. Put yourself outside your comfort zone and never shy away from networking opportunities.

 

A tool or habit you can’t work without:

Drinking diet soda, easily
